Web & app studio · jrc.techbooking spring 2027
Seriously engineered.Really comfy.
We make websites, web apps and mobile apps that feel like your favourite hoodie. Fussy about the engineering, relaxed about everything else.
Overview · who we are
JRC Technology is a small studio of engineers and designers. We build websites, web apps and mobile apps that are seriously engineered and really comfy to use. We sweat the details so your users never have to.
JRC stands for Just Really Comfy. (It used to stand for something sensible. We forgot what.)
TypeScript all the way down, tests that actually run, and code your next developer will send us flowers for.
Interfaces that make sense the first time. If someone needs a manual, we go back to the sofa and try again.
You talk to the people building it. No account managers, no ticket black holes, just a group chat that replies.

07 · Something else?
If it runs on a screen, we probably build it. Ask us anything.
Between client projects we build our own tools. They’re small, opinionated and really, really comfy.
The database GUI that feels like a beanbag.
Browse, query and tidy your data without the cold sweat. Migrations explain themselves and undo actually undoes.
Team chat with the volume turned down.
Threads that settle, notifications that knock politely, and a “do not disturb” that means it.
Ships on Fridays. Comfortably.
Previews for every branch, health checks that check, and a rollback button big enough to hit with your elbow.
From doodle to website before your tea goes cold.
Snap a sketch on the back of anything. Napkin turns boxes and squiggles into a prototype you can poke.
One warm dashboard for home and team.
Stand-ups, the heating, the office plant’s mood: everything that keeps your crew cosy, on one glanceable screen.
Got an itch for an app?
We’ll knit you one. Bring the idea, we’ll bring the blankets.
Let’s make yoursLike a good duvet, our process has layers, and each one is there for a reason. Here’s the whole thing, start to snug.
Step 01 · about a week
We put the kettle on and listen. What bugs your users, what success looks like, what absolutely must not break. No 90-slide decks, promise.
You getA one-page planAn honest estimate
Step 02 · 1–2 weeks
Napkin doodles become clickable prototypes you can poke on your own phone. We test with real people early, while changes are still cheap.
You getClickable prototypeUser test notes
Step 03 · the bulk of it
Short sprints, a shared board and a demo every week. You watch it grow, rather than getting one big reveal and a nervous smile.
You getWeekly demosA live preview link
Step 04 · one calm afternoon
Yes, Friday. With automated checks, staged rollouts and a one-tap rollback, launch day is boring in the best way. Slippers optional.
You getZero-drama deployA small launch party
Step 05 · as long as you like
We stick around: monitoring, updates and gentle improvements, so your software is as comfy in year three as it was on day one.
You getA care planMonthly check-ins
…then we put the kettle back on
Our clients say lovely things. We printed them on cards so you can throw them about.
Drag the top card, or use ← → when the pile is focused.
They shipped our booking app on a Friday afternoon, then went to the pub. Nothing broke. I have never felt so relaxed about software.
Contact · say hello
Tell us what you’re dreaming up. We reply like friends, quote like grown-ups and build like it’s going to be used every day, because it is.
We’ll reply within a working day. Probably sooner.
